Ears and All

Life can sure feel like a rollercoaster.

Hanging on for dear life, white-knuckling the rail… or saying “fuck it”—I’m throwing my hands in the air and I’M JUST GOING TO SCREAM.

Life will try to convince you that you’re helpless, powerless, and that it’d be far easier to just play the part of the rider.

But that’s the easy path.

FORGET EASY.

Nothing good has ever come from easy.

The brain presents easy on a silver platter—under the perfect light, with fresh cut flowers and a playlist to set the mood…

Stay with me.

Whatever BIG dream you’re building requires two things:

    1.    You working toward it.

    2.    You sacrificing other aspects of your life to make room for it.

This weekend was Easter, and I believe the world could use more JOY, IMAGINATION, and WONDER.

So I did something about it. I took action.

I worked toward the future I’m dreaming of—one where minds are expanded by the unexpected, smiles are evoked, and memories are sparked.

Peeps were flung. Songs were sung. It was awesome, and required effort, investment, and vulnerability.

Let’s celebrate rebirth by living in our truest alignment.

This is what “doing the work” looks like for me today—ears and all.
